Telltale signs of higher returns? Gender mix could be one

Of teams studied, 57% were all-male, 2% were all-female, and 41% were mixed gender.
The research finds annualized performance about 12 basis points below the benchmark for all-male teams, 6 basis points below the benchmark for all-female teams, and 10 basis points above the benchmark for mixed-gender teams. If most of a team’s members are graduates of Ivy League universities, the research finds performance remains 12 basis points below the benchmark for all-male teams, increases to 13 points above the benchmark for all-female teams, and jumps to 104 basis points above the benchmark for mixed-gender teams.
